James W. Rierson
Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Rierson was born and raised right here in New Braunfels, Texas. He attended Canyon High School, went to Tarleton State University for his undergraduate education, and received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Texas A&M in 2008. Dr. Rierson became a partner in January of 2011. He has 2 daughters, 2 sons, and enjoys many outdoor activities including camping and hiking. He and his wife Carly have a Belgian Malinois named Winnie.
Dana R. Lembke
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Dana Lembke is a native of northeast Iowa. She attended Buena Vista University to acquire a Bachelor’s of Science before graduating from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. After living in New Braunfels for several years and working in San Antonio, she looks forward to practicing in her community.
Dr. Lembke’s special interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and dentistry.
At home, she is kept busy by her cat Roscoe, two standard poodles, Reese and Reagan, and a retired racing greyhound named Panora.
Jennifer S. Jones
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Jones’s love for animals began in North Florida, where she was born and raised on a large commercial beef cattle ranch. In 2006, Dr. Jones completed her Bachelor of Professional Biology degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. In 2010, Dr. Jones completed her final year of veterinary clinical proficiency at Oklahoma State University. In 2011, she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. Matthews University of Veterinary Medicine in Grand Cayman. In addition to earning her DVM, Dr. Jones completed her Master of Business Administration degree from Davenport University in Michigan in 2011.
In Dr. Jones’s free time, you can catch her boating on Canyon Lake, island hopping in the Caribbean (St. John, USVI is her favorite!), or spending time with her family. Dr. Jones and her wonderful husband Hunter have two little ones, Landry and Knox, who keep them very busy and overjoyed. Dr. Jones is excited to bring her veterinary expertise, unmatched bedside manner, and caring heart to Creek View Veterinary Clinic!
Kaitlyn L. Correll
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Correll was born and raised in Bandera, Texas where she was, almost literally, raised in a barn. She grew up helping care for the Quarter Horse race horses in her family’s training stables as well as various other animals in the family menagerie. She is currently owned by one Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix named Missy who is an amazing hiking and running partner and one Grenadian guard cat named Monster who has travelled with her both internationally and throughout much of the Southeastern United States.
She received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 2012. She then attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, where she earned a Master’s degree in 2013. Dr. Correll then attained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University after completing three years of study in Grenada and her clinical year at Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Services.
Dr. Correll also worked as a technician for various veterinary clinics and laboratories in Texas and Louisiana throughout her education. She has special interests in preventative care, surgery, anesthesia, and pain management. She is excited to begin meeting and caring for her new patients as an associate veterinarian at Creek View Veterinary Clinic.
Nicole L. Sheedy
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Sheedy is from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from University of Manitoba in 2015 followed by a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Her passions include animal welfare, One Health, and wildlife conservation.

Hi, my name is Leslie and I started working at Creek View Veterinary Clinic in July 2013. I have been working with animals for about 15 years and I love it! My husband Ryan and I currently have one energetic cat named Mandalorian and an adventurous dog named Dovahkiin.

Hi! My name is Colleen. My husband and I moved to the area in 2018 from Bastrop, TX where I worked at a mixed animal practice. I have two dogs named Thelma and Lenny and a sphynx named Fluffy. I am extremely lucky to work in a field that I am passionate about. Nothing is better than getting to care for and help the fuzzy family members who come into the clinic!

Hi, my name is Cheryl. I have been working at Creek View Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years. I attended Palo Alto College and earned a Registered Veterinary Technician degree in 2001. I really enjoy working here. I take great pride in my work, however I do miss working with cattle, it was always the highlight of my day to get to “pull a calf”. I look forward to many more years here, helping the animals of Comal County one animal at a time.

My name is Meiko and I joined the Creek View family in 2017. I can usually be found supervising the boarding area or helping the technicians in the laboratory. I love treats, head bunting, and occasionally exploring the clinic.

I’m Diesel and I normally spend most of my time in the treatment room with the technicians. I love to chase my tail and give kisses. I occasionally like to come up to the reception area to great all of our visitors!
